Exhibition *Wild Thing – Swiss Fashion Scene* at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, 11 December 2020 – 11 April 2021. Fashion without mass production, without Hollywood, and without international fashion weeks? Far from the spotlight and the dictates of the major fashion capitals, a vibrant fashion scene is flourishing in Switzerland. Alongside renowned brands, small labels, collectives, and recent graduates are testing their potential. Some of these designers are trying to gain a foothold in the fashion market with their multifaceted collections, while others independently and inventively create systems of their own. The exhibition presents a colourful range of trendsetting outfits, shows fashion photography, film exhibits, and textile innovations, and thus offers a snapshot of the current scene.
