This diverse multimedia exhibition takes a nuanced look at the humorous side of Switzerland, with caricatures dating back to the 19th century, contemporary cartoons, and nationally significant figures such as HD Läppli and Clown Grock. In the good old television parlor, excerpts from Swiss comedy programs and film comedies delight visitors. *Made in Witzerland* also addresses everyday humor, Swiss stereotypes and clichés, as well as politically and socially incorrect jokes. At the same time, the exhibition explores the unequal humor of men and women and children’s understanding of irony and situational comedy, all pointedly staged in a surprising scenography.
