What personal preferences shape the work of Jörg Boner, Connie Hüsser and Kueng Caputo? What drives Sebastian Marbacher, Panter&Tourron and Adrien Rovero? A fully furnished room can sometimes reveal more than individual designs. The museum invited contemporary designers from across Switzerland to create a room according to their own ideas. To furnish it, they were given access to furniture and everyday objects from the museum’s own collection. Their six rooms — whether a homage to postmodern stylistic diversity, a table community of distinctive chair personalities, or a setting inspired by nomadic living — offer visitors a varied tour and reflect the interests and current themes of a new generation of Swiss designers.
