The new Japanese restaurant Seam on Löwenstrasse in Zurich prepares its dishes in full view of guests, adding exceptional specialties to Zurich’s culinary offering. The high-quality interior design was conceived by the Japanese studio “The Whole Design” and realised in close coordination with Iria Degen Interiors. The lighting supports the design and plays with the interpretation of an indoor and outdoor space within the restaurant. The restrained, only very subtly lit lower level acts as the setting for the contrasting, light-filled “house” on the raised level, elegantly framed with a different material expression.
