The exhibition takes visitors on a journey of discovery into the “Queerreich,” a world that reveals the rich diversity to be found in nature and society when it comes to gender and sexuality. It is an expedition on which visitors also explore their own identity. We support the scenographic concept with precise lighting guidance. The homogeneous illumination of the complementary-coloured surfaces creates a shimmering, multi-layered space that makes the theme of the temporary exhibition tangible for visitors. Within this visually expansive overall composition, subtle accents of light help each individual object emerge from the whole, move into the visitor’s focus, and unfold there in its singularity.
